Ned Deily <n...@python.org> added the comment:
Terry, with regard to Azure testing and elsewhere: presumably most of the CI runs are run from processes without a GUI-capable "console" so that test failures like this one would never be seen as test cases requiring a GUI interface would be silently skipped by test_idle (likewise for some tk tests). Perhaps the tests should issue a message when a GUI isn't present even when -v isn't selected? Or perhaps a message in test.pythoninfo? ---------- _______________________________________ Python tracker <rep...@bugs.python.org> <https://bugs.python.org/issue37706> _______________________________________ _______________________________________________ Python-bugs-list mailing list Unsubscribe: https://mail.python.org/mailman/options/python-bugs-list/archive%40mail-archive.com
