This is essentially a duplicate of #36048. The example is now deprecated:
>>> from decimal import Decimal
>>> from datetime import datetime
>>> datetime(Decimal("2000.5"), 1, 2)
<stdin>:1: DeprecationWarning: an integer is required (got type
decimal.Decimal). Implicit conversion to integers using __int__ is deprecated,
and may be removed in a future version of Python.
datetime.datetime(2000, 1, 2, 0, 0)
So I think that this can be closed.
