New submission from ArtOfCode Studio <artofcodestu...@gmail.com>: I want to find all imported modules in a python program. I am using the ``modulefinder`` standard module for my job. I am trying to follow [this example](https://docs.python.org/3.8/library/modulefinder.html#example-usage-of-modulefinder) on docs, but I get this error even if I use the same code as the documents:

I am using Python3.8.1 If there is a better way of finding imported modules let me know it. Also is there any way of saying that to Python: "use unicode for directory names"? ---------- components: Unicode messages: 361829 nosy: ArtOfCode Studio, ezio.melotti, vstinner priority: normal severity: normal status: open title: Python UnicodeDecodeError while using modulefinder versions: Python 3.8 _______________________________________ Python tracker <rep...@bugs.python.org> <https://bugs.python.org/issue39612> _______________________________________ _______________________________________________ Python-bugs-list mailing list Unsubscribe: https://mail.python.org/mailman/options/python-bugs-list/archive%40mail-archive.com
