Downloaded Windows 64 bit installer from: https://www.python.org/downloads/windows/ Link said: https://www.python.org/ftp/python/3.9.5/python-3.9.5-amd64.exe It downloaded what appears to be 3.8.10 installer. I launched it and I got the attached screenshot with 3.8.10 installer. Tested it out 4 times. First 2 times it did the same thing. While testing the third time, acquiring screenshots so it took longer, it gave me the correct file!
