Coombs <jar...@jaraco.com> added the comment: In the interest of expediency, I've implemented I.(a): specifically, I've put a wrapper around DeleteFileW to check if the target is a directory-symlink, and if it is, call RemoveDirectory instead. I've updated the test case to reflect this behavior. Patch draft 6 includes these changes.
