Michael Foord <mich...@voidspace.org.uk> added the comment: I've tried installations of Python to Program Files in recent years (Python 2.4 and 2.5) and found many scripts/tools unable to cope with the space in the path. I always ended up reinstalling. (Usually using sys.executable in conjunction with calling out to shell scripts.)
