David Murray <rdmur...@bitdance.com> added the comment: Haypo: yeah, in an ideal world Generator would use get_payload() and not _payload, but I had to make some compromises with purity of model separation in order to achieve the practical goal of handling bytes usefully. I'd like to fix that as I work on email in 3.3.
