Something to watch in the future is MS's efforts to port OpenSSH to Windows: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/powershell/archive/2015/10/19/openssh-for-windows-update.aspx As that stabilises, it may be worth offering common OpenSSH based instructions for Windows as well.
