True. OTOH, there already is a subversion on svn.python.org, and administrative work is likely only about creating new accounts. I once tried to move the Python CVS to Sunsite (or its successors), and gave up after half a year of getting nowhere; I'm personally not keen on repeating such an experience. However, if somebody stepped forward to do the actual work (perhaps based on the draft PEP), I would happily hand this project over (it would be good if that volunteer would set a deadline for negotiations with the new host).
