A related question: what would bytes([104, 101, 108, 108, 111, 8004]) return? An exception hopefully. I also think you'd want bytes([x for x in some_bytes_object]) to return an object equal to the original. -Barry _______________________________________________ Python-Dev mailing list Python-Dev@python.org http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/python-dev Unsubscribe: http://mail.python.org/mailman/options/python-dev/archive%40mail-archive.com
