Mercurial, >GIT, anything else? I tried Mercurial which is nice (at least some small >project). But I think that GIT is the fatest and most robust system. We have experimental Bazaar and Mercurial mirrors of the various branches. I've just put up a loggerhead (think ViewCVS for Bazaar) instance on code.python.org. http://code.python.org. I haven't installed pysqlite yet on that box, but when I do, it will be much more responsive. (I also haven't installed the init.d script yet so if it dies, let me know and I'll restart it.) Please note that these are *expermental*. We have not officially chosen a dvcs, or even decided that we're moving to one. Brett as the head of the infrastructure committee will have more to say about that. >Right and it's very difficult to manage patches using the tracker. But it can be better ;-) I agree! How can we improve our development process, given that we're an all volunteer organization? - -Barry -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (GNU/Linux) iEYEARECAAYFAkkJrYcACgkQ2YZpQepbvXGrgQCeIQV+n81qpZw/CaG3kzdCVYyU RzYAn2lxqzwZ5QwBw38RkyNsix++h9iI =O9T4 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Python-Dev mailing list Python-Dev@python.org http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/python-dev Unsubscribe: http://mail.python.org/mailman/options/python-dev/archive%40mail-archive.com
