I'll be working on an implementation, but contributions are welcome. Unfortunately, I'm really short on free software time recently (and keep hoping that this will improve). One thing that I always wondered about is the status of importlib. Will that be used in 3.2? In addition, I still owe a few answers to comments from the previous discussion.
