The test logs include the exact command that is executed: http://www.python.org/dev/buildbot/all/builders/AMD64%20OpenIndiana%203.x/builds/1731/steps/test/logs/stdio So it looks like you're just running the standard test resource (which makes sense, since the bigmem tests would saturate your system with a single process rather than multiple processes). The server actually looks it may be in a generally unhappy state, perhaps due to previous builds that failed without cleaning up after themselves properly. How many python processes do you see hanging around?
