Kind-of OT: while I understand (and have sometimes felt myself) the desire to vent frustration about a decision one doesn't agree with, thers should be *at least* a link to the discussion alluded to so that readers make their own mind. Otherwise, it feels to me like any disagreement here may end up chastised on Twitter by some influential figure of authority. That's not a pleasant place to be in.
