Hi,

IPython is dropping support for Python 2 in it's 6.0.0 release [1], while the 5.x version remains long term supported with Python 2 support [2].

In order to update the ipython package in Fedora to 6.x, we'd need to move the python2 bits to a separate package (python2-ipython).

Is there anyone in the SIG, who's willing to maintain the python2 version of ipython? Thanks

Thomas Spura (current owner) and me - we are not interested, see the relevant BZ for more information [3].
