I'd like to raise attention to some concerns about the python-dateutil package

The package is not actively maintained by upstream [1] and I got an early

A user also tried to report a security vulnerability to upstream, but they got
no response [3].
Yet the package seems to be required by, ehm, a few others [4]. Shall we
encourage other dependent packages to find alternatives and move away from
python-dateutil? I didn't try to fix the Python 3.15 FTB (yet), but I don't

downstream.

Yes, we should try getting rid of it.

I suggest a proposal to deprecate it might be a good idea.
