Hi JM,

Windows 7 Enterprise
"Microsoft Windows [Version 6.1.7601]"

I am running Python directly from the shortcut created on installation.
But starting it from cmd.exe has the same effect.

Codepage is 437 , this may be relevant?

I just tried it on a Windows 10 PC, there it has the same effect.

Stephan
