Komodo also have an "open" version - Open Komodo. It lacks some of the cool features of the commercial version, but still is great for basic IDE functionality, & as mentioned supports most modern dynamic languages. It supports extensions of course, so you could support & improve it in a standard way. I use it as my IDE, & prefer it on the rest, but I do only Web apps, so can't tell you nothing on wxWidgets support.
