I do not think that [email protected] is a group member. alexarsh5 is. Currently we do not see the original message, just the attachment in Alex's one. However, the original did get to the moderation queue of python-IL (was discarded and added to auto-discard). 1) It is possible that the original post did appear on pyweb-IL and was deleted later by some admin (which would explain both how Alex got it and its appearance on my queue ). If this is the case, the people calling for disallow-non-member-submit might have a case (personally, I'm staying neutral on this, because I read via the python-IL subscription and would have been protected from such posts had I not been the moderator myself...). I'd kindly request Alex (and everyone else) to avoid full-quoting large posts, especially if they have nothing to do with Python web frameworks. 2) If it never appeared on pyweb, then it means that held-for- moderation pyweb-IL messages still get forwarded to email subscribers (such as python-IL). Sounds like a bug in Google-Groups. My request to avoid full-quoting off-topic messages still holds.
