Porting Django to Python 3 would indeed be awesome. But keep in mind we
would probably not complete even 10% of it in one sprint.

If Alex Gaynor can do it in a few months, then it's really freaking big. But
I'd be happy even if we did just a small chunk of it; I'm sure Alex Gaynor
will be happy to point us at some sub-task that is small enough for our
sprint.


Regarding you being a newcomer: That's totally cool. Strengthening the local
Python community and helping newcomers is part of the goal.


Tal: The context manager thing is cool, but since it's just hypothetical
discussion on python-ideas AFAIK there's a good chance that they'll just
abandon the idea and our work would be wasted.
