Amit,

DreamHost is a shared hosting provider. They already have apache and mysql
installed with mod_php. It's not a bare system. And you can't get root.
They do give you access to a single database and space mapped to whatever
you want in apache.

If you can't handle setting up a wiki under these conditions (which is very
doable) then I don't have another good solution.
