It's much safer to work the other way: assume that libraries are _not_ thread safe unless they're listed as such. Even things like the standard C library on mainstream Linux distributions are only about 7 years into being thread-safe by default, anything at all esoteric you should assume is not until you investigate and find documentation to the contrary. -- http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/python-list
