Hi D, I would suggest that you look here http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/gdi/prntspol_7mgj.asp at AddPort and and AddPrinter. Though I have not tried to use them in python, I would assume that using win32com [http://www.python.net/crew/mhammond/win32/Downloads.html] or the like you'd be able to make use of those functions.
