EQ.stdout is the filelike object you're looking for.
communicate() grabs entire output at once so don't use it.

EQ = subprocess.Popen(['/usr/bin/equery', 'depends', Package],
stdout=subprocess.PIPE)
for line in EQ.stdout:
    do_stuff_with(line)
