See the "Embedding and Extending" tutorial. In short, you write
resultObj = PyObject_CallMethod(selfObj, "doMath", "");
if (resultObj == NULL)
return NULL;
Py_DECREF(resultObj); // resultObj should be Py_None
How you get hold of self depends on your application.
