I use Fastmail.fm as my email service (and browser based email client). Fastmail supports the ability to automatically delete messages > a specific age on a folder by folder basis. Fastmail also supports a variety of ways to file messages into folders - from simple to sophisticated (Sieve based). Highly recommended!
