You subject line is about a non-specific as can be, which means that the person who can answer would not know and would likely skip over it. Something like
"Wanted: a module to catalog Excel files on a LAN" would grab attention better.
Is there a dedicated python lib for the task? Is pywin32 one of the possible lib available?
