According to the damage type table on Aardwolf MUD, a grep is a type of slash - at least, it's resisted by the same armor value that resists slashing damage. I had to ask about it on-game, being rather surprised that grep could deal 300 points of damage to my foe. Stand back, I know regular expressions!
