Congratulations. You just tried to treat Python as though it were a hammer and your task as though it were a nail. And you bashed your thumb while doing it. You also hurt yourself on Windows and blamed it on Python. I'm afraid I'm fresh out of sympathy, won't get a new shipment till tomorrow.
