On a related note, have you ever seen any of the original undubbed Star Wars scenes with Darth Vader, with the original voice of the English actor who played him, Dave Prowse (The Green Cross Man, for those who remember ;-) Problem was, Mr. Prowse has a pronounced West Country accent. Imagine it: Darth Vader (in the voice of Farmer Giles): "You are a Rebel, and a Traitor to the Empire". Hilarious :-D, and impossible to take seriously.
