I have this in my .slrnrc: set hostname "invalid.invalid" set username "grant" set realname "Grant Edwards" I'm not sure why it doesn't show up as grant@invalid.invalid -- I think it used to. Since I'm this as a Usenet news group using the slrn newsreader program, there's no need to make my email address visible in the message headers in a usable form. I originally did this long ago (probably 20 years) to avoid spam. I'm pretty sure that it's all in vain these days, and the spam filters at Google are what's keeping me from drowning. -- Grant Edwards grant.b.edwards Yow!
