Tkinter is not very Pythonic because it's sort of a Frankenstein hybrid of Python and Tcl, but at least it's there and it more or less works. The others are non-Pythonic because they're not included in the standard distro and therefore the Pythonic "use the included batteries" tenet says to use Tkinter despite its flaws. -- http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/python-list
