Hi! I would recommend picking up one of the Python web frameworks like Django or Flask. It's usually easier than using CGI. But either way, the easiest way to run a local command is the subprocess module: https://docs.python.org/2/library/subprocess.html https://docs.python.org/3/library/subprocess.html I've provided two links because, unless you have a really good reason for using Python 2, it'd be well worth using Python 3 instead. There are lots of neat new features in the 3.x line, so it'll be best to start on 3.x rather than migrating later.
