If you like Sublime, and its minimalistic 'Distraction Free Mode', you'll be delighted to know that this exact same feature is in PyCharm as well. Select it (View->Enter distraction free mode), and gone is all the screen clutter and even the menu bar if you so desire. You can focus on just your code.
