I think the name is the least important aspect of a computer language.

I’d like to propose that classic FORTRAN (FORmulaTRANslator) came/comes close.

While that was the first language I learned, I'll have to give the nod to PL/I -- Programming Language One and its child PL/M, Programming Language for Microrocessors as well as the somewhat strange APL A Programming Language
