Well, that says you consider both code auditing and debugging to be social problems rather than technical ones. Maybe that's reasonable, maybe not; either way, both are important in the real world. There is also the issue of applet sandboxes which rely on the enforcement. That is definitely a technical problem. You can't really write a scriptable web browser in Python without an extra level of contortions (compared to Java) to keep user scripts from taking over the browser.
