There are no official/un-official documentation for bdbxml python api AFAIK !!!
If you want some examples look in "dbxml/examples/python/", directory in your dbxml installation. Though for most part the python api closely follows the C++/Java api (look: http://www.dbxml.com/docs/programmer.html ) for details. You may also find http://blog.gmane.org/gmane.comp.db.dbxml.general useful. cheers, amit.
