Are you sure? The last update of the Debian package was slightly over a month ago (http://packages.qa.debian.org/p/python-numeric.html). And the description text reads: """ Description: Numerical (matrix-oriented) Mathematics for Python The Numeric Extensions to Python (NumPy) ...
