Package: jupyter-notebook Version: 6.0.0-1 Severity: normal The package now seems to enable the jupyter-notebook.service user unit by default (I think this has changed?). Due to how Debian gdm3 is packaged, this means also starting a server for the Debian-gdm user.
Since the service listens on a TCP port, the usefulness of this default seems questionable at best. Only one server can use the default port, and due to the GDM issue even machines with a single human user can have two distinct user systemd sessions. If you can't rely on the port, no static URL will work in a browser.
