Package: python-matplotlib-data
Version: 0.98.1-1+lenny4
Severity: normal

Hi.

Looks like lineprops.glade dropped out of upstream SVN at some time and hasn't
found its way back in in Debian yet.

judging from http://article.gmane.org/gmane.comp.python.matplotlib.general/9538
and
http://matplotlib.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/matplotlib/trunk/matplotlib/lib/matplotlib/mpl-data/
 anyway.

The problem reveals itself when attempting to run one of the examples in
python-matplotlib-doc, namely
/usr/share/doc/python-matplotlib-doc/examples/user_interfaces/lineprops_dialog_gtk.py
. This doesn't directly reference the missing glade file, but
/usr/share/pyshared/matplotlib/backends/backend_gtk.py does.

The example complains : "IOError: Could not find gladefile lineprops.glade in
/usr/share/matplotlib/mpl-data"

Such a file does not appear in dpkg -L python-matplotlib or
python-matplotlib-data or python-matplotlib-doc.

  -AA.
