I have noticed this error in my apache2 error log as well. The version of libapache2-mod-python still appears to be 3.3.1-9+b1. This was installed by default with tasksel when installing a webserver on Squeeze. The error does appear to be benign but may be confusing for some users. It will appear int he error log with each restart of apache2.
