Hi,

Some months ago, I uninstalled python2.6 (former stable version in Debian) in order to use python2.7 only. Today, I want to install libapache2-mod-wsgi but I see that it depends on python2.6.
So I don't want to reinstall python2.6 to get mod-wsgi.

Please check if it could be possible to remove python2.6 from libapache2-mod-wsgi depends in unstable.
Thanks.

Fabien

python 2.6 isn't supported anymore in jessie so the latest mod-wsgi upload is only built against python 2.7.

In wheezy both 2.6 and 2.7 are supported so mod-wsgi builds
/usr/lib/apache2/modules/mod_wsgi.so-2.6
/usr/lib/apache2/modules/mod_wsgi.so-2.7

The only way to avoid depending on both libpython2.6 and libpython2.7 is to split the package but that would be out of scope for a stable release update anyway.

Felix
