python-babel has a new upstream [1] and version 1.3 has been released.
Please package the new version since the new upstream version of
flask-babel requires at least python-babel 1.0.
Python 3.3 support has been added so it would be great to get a
python3-babel package as well.
Thank you for maintaing python-babel in Debian!

Hi,
FYI, I have uploaded python-babel 1.3 in Sid. I couldn't wait for more,
so I did the work...
I haven't pushed to the SVN, because git-svn is producing some weird
errors. Andrey, could you push the changes?
Cheers,
Thomas
P.S: I'm closing #718420
