Package: namebench Version: 1.3.1+dfsg-2 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
* What led up to the situation? I was trying out namebench and the GUI would not start. * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? I went to the CLI and tried just doing namebench. * What was the outcome of this action? $ namebench - The python-tk (tkinter) library is missing, using the command-line interface. namebench 1.3.1 - best source (automatic) on 2014-06-18 20:15:17.111025 threads=40/2 queries=250 runs=1 timeout=3.5 health_timeout=3.75 servers=11 * What outcome did you expect instead? I was expecting the GUI to start as it did the first time. Did nothing out of the ordinary and the tkinter library is present. Please lemme know if there is anyway I can help. -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (600, 'testing'), (500, 'testing-updates'), (1, 'experimental'), (1, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.14-1-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_IN, LC_CTYPE=en_IN (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages namebench depends on: ii python 2.7.6-2 ii python-dnspython 1.11.1-1 ii python-graphy 1.0+dfsg-3 ii python-httplib2 0.9+dfsg-1 ii python-jinja2 2.7.3-1 ii python-simplejson 3.5.2-1+b1 Versions of packages namebench recommends: ii chromium [www-browser] 35.0.1916.153-1 ii iceweasel [www-browser] 29.0.1-2 ii konqueror [www-browser] 4:4.12.4-1 ii links2 [www-browser] 2.8-2 ii midori [www-browser] 0.4.3+dfsg-0.1 ii netsurf [www-browser] 2.9-2 ii netsurf-gtk [www-browser] 2.9-2+b1 ii python-tk 2.7.7-1 ii w3m [www-browser] 0.5.3-15 namebench suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- Regards, Shirish Agarwal शिरीष अग्रवाल My quotes in this email licensed under CC 3.0 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/3.0/ http://flossexperiences.wordpress.com EB80 462B 08E1 A0DE A73A 2C2F 9F3D C7A4 E1C4 D2D8 _______________________________________________ Python-modules-team mailing list Python-modules-team@lists.alioth.debian.org http://lists.alioth.debian.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/python-modules-team
