This bug has been marked as pending for 3.5 weeks now - is there a plan
for when the next upload will be?
Currently matplotlib is one of only two packages left blocking the
wxpython3.0 transition, and the maintainer of the other (pyhoca-gui) is
actively working on an upload.
If it's just a matter of lack of maintainer time for actually making an
upload, I'm happy to make an NMU based on what's in the packaging VCS.
