Package: certbot
Version: 0.10.2-1
Severity: normal

Hello,

when I resize my terminal while certbot is trying to renew a
certificate, the process aborts with a message like:

Cert is due for renewal, auto-renewing...
Attempting to renew cert from /path/to/host.conf produced an unexpected
error: HTTPSConnectionPool(host='acme-v01.api.letsencrypt.org', port=443): Max
retries exceeded with url: /directory (Caused by
NewConnectionError('<requests.packages.urllib3.connection.VerifiedHTTPSConnection
object at 0x7f3339fa2910>: Failed to establish a new connection: [Errno 4]
Interrupted system call',)). Skipping.

While this is not very grave (the process can just be repeated and if I don't
resize the window then, I get my new certificate). Still it would be nice if
that error could be handled without the need for user interaction.

Best regards
Uwe

Hiya!

So, this is actually a bug in an underlying library, urllib3. It
should be fixed now; looks like it was originally fixed in 1.20, which
was never uploaded to Debian, but 1.21 has been in for a couple of
months ago.

Sincerely,
