Just a quick follow-up.. Since getting past the issue of how to determine the name of the COM object... my programming adventures of scripting to access Mercury Quality Center has been insanely great. The first thing I did was 'port' some of the VB examples to Python and just in number of lines the Python versions had 2/3rds the number of lines as compared to the VB versions.
