I usually just use IDLE for Python stuff. My boss recently bought Wing for me and it's code-completion is great, but it's definitely much more sensitive to errors and I haven't used it enough to figure out how to find the tracebacks. PythonWin is ok, and PyDev for Eclipse is cool, but kind of bloated.
