Hi Mark, Thank you for your suggestion. I made it to work by following the sequence below: 1) EmptyClipboard() 2) SetClipboardData(CF_UNICODETEXT) 3) SetClipboardData(CF_HDROP, ret_stg.data)
Now am able to paste the images in all supported applications in Windows 7/8.
