See https://github.com/mhammond/pywin32/#free-threaded-support for the answer to this.

Greetings,

pywin32 312 publishes only cp314 wheels, with no cp314t variant, so the COM server cannot be registered against a free-threaded interpreter at all.

My questions:

1. Are free-threaded builds planned, and is there an issue I can follow?
2. Is the obstacle mainly build and CI work, or is there known global state in pythoncom that would need reworking first? 3. Is there anything useful I could contribute — testing an experimental build against a real in-process COM host, for instance? That is an unusual configuration and I am happy to exercise it.
